Recognizing and Accepting my Purpose
Dear Readers,
Thank you so much for your purchase/support of R.A.P. Magazine. R.A.P. stands for Recognizing and Accepting my Purpose. The inspiration behind the name comes from a scripture: Proverbs 20:18, which states that, "Every purpose is established by counsel...". I learned that when something is established it is RECOGNIZED and ACCEPTED. When applying that to purpose and realizing that counsel or advisement is the key to obtain an established purpose I decided to start a discussion group back in 2007 with middle school girls. It gave them their own place to express themselves and get feedback from me, the organizer of the group, as well as other speakers that came in to share and advise. Now I'm taking this name and message to the next level in the form of a magazine hoping that you the reader are inspired and connected to your purpose by the testimony of others featured in this magazine. I hope that the sharing of their story helps you to develop yours and become even closer to the reason why you were created. I believe that all of us have a purpose on this earth, and it is up to us to recognize and accept it. I ask that before you turn the page you prepare your mind and spirit to receive the advice in this magazine and apply it to your own life.
